Using Stillmind

What Stillmind is

Stillmind is a final year student project at Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. It asks 27 short questions about your feelings, stress and worry and uses a statistical model to estimate a depression symptom level, from Minimal to Severe, with a suggested next step.

What Stillmind is not

Stillmind is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical or psychological treatment, and it does not replace a doctor, psychologist or counsellor. Its estimate can be wrong. Please don’t make decisions about your health, or stop any treatment, based only on Stillmind.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use Stillmind.

Your account

Keep your password private and sign out on shared devices. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at stillmind.hello@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.

The assistant

The assistant explains results, offers calming exercises and helps you plan a next step or find words to talk to someone. It does not give medical advice, diagnoses or medication guidance. Its replies are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong, so treat them as support, not professional advice. The replies are written by an AI model run by Groq, a third-party AI service; the Privacy Policy explains what is sent to Groq.

Using Stillmind fairly

• Use Stillmind for yourself, not to screen other people without their consent.
• Don’t try to access other people’s data, overload or break the service, or get around its security.
• Don’t use the assistant to create harmful content or to harass anyone.

A student project

Stillmind is provided as part of an academic project, free of charge and “as is”. It may change, pause or stop at any time, for example after the project ends. We will try to give notice so you can export your data first.

Responsibility

We work to keep Stillmind accurate, safe and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions made based on Stillmind’s estimates or the assistant’s replies.

Ending your use

You can stop using Stillmind and delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law and contact
